afternoon all hope everyone is well, loving the pictures tweets :D:D
Rhosynbach can I swop my DS for one of yours please???
Mine has been attached to me like a limpet all summer and still is. I can't get off my seat without him asking where I'm going. I go to make lunch or dinner and he's right behind me. He wants to know what I'll be doing while he's at school and when I pick him up he asks what I've done and if they're different he wants to know why, I've got to the stage where I tell him I'll just be at home doing nothing.
I'm trying to get him to be a bit more independent but he's fighting me all the way, the only thing he'll do himself is make his breakfast. He doesn't leave the house at all, has no friends locally and it's starting to bug both of us because I can't cope with him being under my feet so much.
But saying that I'd be complaining if he was never in, running about with kids I don't know and getting up to god knows what. I suppose I can't win either way :o

this made me laugh sd as i would like a mix between mine and yours, mine are always so busy that I dont see a lot of them, in the holidays I did not spend a penny :D as every time i suggested a trip they had other plans or it was a good tide, or perfect weather to climb a mountain, I think it helps that there is 2 of them even though they are 5 years apart they have always been inseparable,
how old is your ds, hopefully he will grow out of it, and make a few good friends,:D

    Apologies if already posted yesterday:

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/nationwide-flexplus-best-value-bundled-current-account-which-top-rated-with-family-1999433

Nationwide FlexPlus Current Account - £10 monthly charge, BUT you get:

    - UK & European Breakdown and Recovery Assistance. Cover for you in any private car and anyone driving your car with permission. Plus no limit on the number of call outs you can make.

    - Worldwide family mobile phone insurance. Worldwide family mobile phone insurance for you and your family members living at the same address.

    - Worldwide family travel insurance. Worldwide travel insurance for you and your family, including winter sports, golf and business.

    - Extended warranty on appliances. 12 months additional warranty on eligible household electrical goods.

    - 3% AER in-credit interest. (2.96% gross p.a.) variable on balances up to £2,500. Therefore, approximately £5ish interest per month. :D

    - Commission-free cash withdrawals abroad. We won't charge you any commission for cash withdrawals made while you are abroad.

    Oh...there's also £80 Quidco cashback available. ;)

As always, read the T&Cs, cashback ain't guaranteed, your credit score, blah blah blah...

    :)

I am wondering how long you would have to keep the account open for before you got the Quidco cashback and once that had arrived could you then switch?
Also if this is for brand new customers only - I've got other nationwides but not this particular account.

Has anyone else had all of the small birds return to their gardens in the last few days - we have huge families of sparrows, long tailed and short tailed tits etc arrive and they queueing up to feed on the seeds and bread on the bird table - we have a huge matted clematis growing through the elderberry and apple tree on the fence line and they live in there - wondering if they are nesting again.
We have also put a huge fat ball tube out for them but not much interest yet.
I wonder where they go all summer.
