Happy Birthday Dipdap! :beer:A
This morning's culinary test was a simple banana smoothie with almond butter. Very tasty it was too. You don't even need to add sweetener to it because all the sweetness comes from banana
Can I just ask if anyone on here- Westie I'm sort of looking at you
- uses soya milk or almond milk instead of the regular stuff?
I'm used to semi-skimmed but I know this stuff would probably be better. What say you?
I love that almond butter, delish on toast!
I use Alpro unsweetened almond milk. The sweetened one is too sweet for me. I think the almond milk is much nicer that soya milk, which can taste a bit floury to me?
Coconut milk is ok for sweet things like smoothies or rice pud, but again too sweet for me.Westvleteren wrote: »Unsweetened almond milk or the coconut milk which I believe is still a quid in T's Both are a fantastic base for smoothies - try chucking in half an avocado

Yep the Alpro Coconut milk is £1 in Mr T's but the almond milk is full price. Almond milk is £1 in Mozzies. Deffo best to buy when on offer or it is very expensive."I expect to pass through this world but once. ETA I see you did buy 4, plot thickens. I think maybe the tropical need to be bought in pairs, and the orangeade too possibly.13 items (11 different) on your bill qualify for comparison

Just noticing this. It's obvious (to me) that the Limeade and Tropical haven't picked up an 'mbuy' between them.
These are all on 2 for 90p for M, but it appears some of them have a bogo'f' in the APG system instead. As usual they miss some off the 'offer'. I don't know if 2x Orangeade would work (I've not seen what's been going on at all here and only just logged in, so someone may have done Orangeade successfully).
Orangeade and Tropical worked last weekend but did not on Monday's collection, may or may not work again on current one (from the collection done on Wednesday 10th September). Cherryade/Appleade obviously "recognise" each other.
Right, I'm getting a bit 'bored of it all' at the moment, to be totally totally honest:D;):rotfl:, as I do occasionally (the 'boredom' that is, not the honesty), after ages longer than everyone else, don't need to buy much myself, items of types I've already got plenty of, etc. etc., so I'm going for now, may pop in, may pop out, will do the Monday and Wednesday 'collections' of my own and come back with the results.0 -
Please can I ask if the Essential List of 'stuff' to take to Uni could be posted for me please?
I know I'm late to the game but my DN is off to Swansea on thursday & my sister has just rung with 'asks'
Many thanks - meanwhile I'll try & search for it
For my dd I got a mattress topper which she thought was fab as the mattresses in the accomodation were not great. HthCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.0 -

ever used a glitch APG? no youre too good for that
they would have taken all my vouchers regardless if i did 45 x £10 transactions or 1x £450 transactions. the numbers are the same, tesco are NOT out of pocket (well, that's a different mater but out of my control).
like i said, doesnt matter how i did the transaction they would let me use all of them regardless.
oh, forgot to say, store manager came over the other day and said dont worry about splitting the transaction do it all in one go.
if they tell me to do that, im only following what the store manager said.
I don't go over the limit as it happens. That's not something conscious, I simply don't shop enough to. I don't do C&C and my normal shopping doesn't take me near the limit. But that's As T&C, not Ts.
There is a huge difference to using £450 in one transaction and 45 £10 transactions because it's allowing you to get high value items free. Do you think Ts are going to be able to allow that on a nationwide scale? Therefore your actions are benefitting you, no doubt. But they're also making it more unlikely that others will benefit from this promotion.
You yourself have admitted to reprinting APGs, regardless of what your saying now. I saw it and no doubt others did as well.
Ive answered you and that's the last Im going to say about it.0 -

I can buy 45 £10 items, return them, buy 1x 450 item.
it works out the same, silly.
Yes, you are entitled to use them in Asda, regardless of what you do with them in Tesco.
im not the only one on here, BELIEVE ME lol
Still, you have not answered....... do you use glitch apg's?
i know the answer but you keep avoiding the question lol0 -

We had something from midwinter last year that was very useful indeed. I can't remember if she put it on thread or not though? Or if it was done by PM. My PM box has been cleared many times since then so I no longer have it.0 -
I got 2 orangeade, even said so in the post you quoted!Savvybuyer wrote: »Just noticing this. It's obvious (to me) that the Limeade and Tropical haven't picked up an 'mbuy' between them.

Limeade and Cherryade worked together as a pair as well. 0 -
Ok, so thats a couple of votes for a secondhand macbook! I must admit, I'm a little wary of buying high value stuff on ebay/gumtree etc, dealt with so many frauds at work regarding those type of transactions that it puts me off.
I believe you are entitled to an educational discount, although know its not very much.
We are going to the US next year, but by then college will be over so a bit pointless waiting that long to buy!0 -

I don't know if this any use. Apple do a discount scheme on new devices for students. It says universities but there are some colleges included.

I have also read about a charity on here that some people have had these sorts of items from. I think Nerfy or Cheerleader might be able to provide more info? Family fund I think it's called. Also worth a look0 -
Afternoon everyone.
Happy birthday Dipdap hope you having a lovely day.
Popping in and out at the moment life seems quite busy. Hope everyone is ok.
Any news on Scamps yet? Seems very worrying. Does anyone know where he lives in RL?0
