I agree with most of your post apart from one tiny bit the no campaign are as bad as the yes campaign and as for businesses first we had 100 odd backing no in a letter then a few days later we had 200 backing yes in a letter
Last night we had Asda and John Lewis saying prices will rise but then we had Tesco Morrison's Aldi and Lidl say not necessarily so which side do we believe

I honestly don't think anyone knows. It sounded to me like businesses and banks were being pushed by the media to give answers to questions that really they can't.
It goes back to the currency thing. No one can know what will happen there and what the knock on effects will be, so it's all guess work. I know I wouldn't be voting for a party who can't give straight answers about such a core issue.

There will be different views as either way, businesses want to continue doing business next Friday and will make decisions that are the best for their shareholders/owners. If costs go up, then prices generally follow to maintain profit margins and therefore if a change increases costs and there is a smaller customer base to absorb those costs, then it is almost inevitable that prices have to rise.

Likewise, if you want to spend more on public services or anything else as a government you have to get money from somewhere to pay for it and with a smaller population the challenge is increased.

    Morning everyone.

I was earwigging at the hairdressers yesterday and a woman was witting on about a TV production that had started filming in her village - apparently the road to the doctors was closed off that morning to the consternation of the old dears in the village ;)

Apparently they asked locals if they wanted to be extras and a few had applied - you had to be available for the next 3 months and they had rejected some people for being old, bald, fat or having dyed hair - its due to be aired autumn 2015 so we will know which one it is because all the extras will be young and beautiful :rotfl:

Anyway I did not quite get what it was called so I've been trying to look it up.
I found this link which might be of use to somebody - I see Blackpool is on the list :)

I would book it anyway. If others always have this week then its your turn to have it now. Plus you are giving them over 10 months notice.
