evenin everyone
not been on in a couple of weeks been so busy working!
luckily had plenty of time to do a few tesco shops with apgs.
spoke to customer service (unrelated) and asked about the promotion. i was told that they are rolling it out in several extra locations on the 22nd sep. hopefully they will include apg's and not just conditional spend.
my local t's allows conditional spends but not apg's0 -

I managed to get 8 of the Airwick's and because I didn't pay for them I decided to open all 8 and put them in every room.. my house now smells nice and fresh0

I am hoping that they will extend it, I just hate the idea that on the Sunday the 21st I will be in and out for 6 hours spending and spending and spending.0 -

Er might try the M&S one. Would it be possible to open another tsb classic account or is that pushing it a bit
Personally I wouldn't do it quite so soon. As has been mentioned, opening up lots of current accounts in a short space of time can negatively impact your credit score. Don't know how much but I'm erring on the side of caution and waiting a while before I do. Maybe around Christmas time or sometime in the New Year
But it is up to you of course gocat.Debt free 6th December 2014

Right, I have my best-ever womble!!:D:D:D:j:j:j:j:beer: Not quite into double figures yet, I know others have had better ones, but £9.80 isn't bad!:D
Long receipt, nearly £180 spend:eek:. It was given help by this beauty vs T:
3 x Beck's Bier (20x275ml)£42.00£36.00
Some items comparing cheaper:
0.66 x ASDA Tomatoes by Weight per kg£1.30£1.04
1 x ASDA Bicarbonate of Soda (200g)£0.75£0.50
I like the Red Grapes:
1 x ASDA Seedless Red Grapes (500g)£1.50£1.00
And a non-comparable Cathedral:
1 x Cathedral City Lighter Mature Cheddar (200g)£2.50N/A
(Thank you for getting a £2.50 one instead of the £2.00 ones.)
1 x ASDA Green Seedless Grapes (500g)£1.50£2.00
Oh well, can't have everything!
In fact the Cathedrals that do lose money (350g) on the APG, I noticed half of them are still at full price in M:(, only some have gone down to £2.50, still losing.
The Monday collection didn't pick up either the Green or the Red Grapes in M. Would normally be a good thing, but the comp. vs T matters here! Except that, of course, it should be 2 for £3 for M and therefore +30p on the M comp. (not that that matters:D) as they managed to buy total of two packs of grapes.
There was only one mbuy on the Morries comp., and it compared correctly. I've checked the other receipts I have and none of them have any strange Morries pricing.
In spite of all the items that were cheaper, Mr T turned out to be only a few pence cheaper but, because of the large comparable bill, it added about £9 in 10%. When I first saw what was on the receipt, I thought this may either be the best one I've had yet or it may be another one that turns out way more expensive everywhere else due to the number of mbuys they got. I liked it a bit when I saw the wines they bought were not any of those on 2 for £10 in A:T - I think they're non-comparable but at least not like several of the ones in the 2 for £10 comparing to way more expensive elsewhere:(.0
