Now just to get a reply from the person from freegle to see if they'll be picking up the old huge TV and the broken flat screen TV before I relist them or take them to the dump. I think this will be the last lot I'll put on there because I'm fed up with all the waiting about, I do think that because they're getting it free they don't see the need to hurry and pick up.
I usually offer to deliver because at least if they're not in I can leave the item somewhere safe or with a neighbour. For this reason I always have bin bags and a notebook in my boot and yes these do come in handy for disposing of bodies and noting down where I've put them :rotfl:

Good luck tomorrow leaving him. No mummy tears
I can still remember leaving my DS and him crying which set me off
My son didn't mind starting school, but a week or two after he had started he decided he had had enough and wasn't going anymore, he had been to school and that was that. I ended up literally dragging him in kicking and screaming, the teacher had to pry him off me. Luckily the school is only 10 minutes walk away, took me 20 minutes that day though :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Thats nothing, we use 2 a day, ds1 on toilet constantly.
you should get a diagnosis now not think it is , espeacily if it is affecting him and get a treatment plan,
my ds3 is 14 and has been quite poorly with stomache problems he was at alder hey and has been diagnosed with IBS he has 2 different tablets but apparently they are anti depressants so he will not take them at the moment he is trying controlling his diet and anything non medical he can take
so please tweets sorry to ask but can i have a pm to:A0 -
If someone is giving something away i think it only courtesy to collect on time
I got some drawers off of freegle on sunday i asked if they were available, got a reply yes, when can you come, in 30 mins i said, thats how long would take me to get there if there was alot of traffic, there wasnt and i had asked, got reply and collected and home within the hr:D:D
I feel the same, I won't ask for anything if I can't collect within 24hrs because I know what a pain it can be having things in the way.
This is the second person who's supposed to pick up the TV's so maybe it'll be third time lucky, either that or the guys at the dump/recycling centre will be getting a 'new' TV for their staff room.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

thanks for this, will have a look later. DS2 in had his initial assessment and has been referred on to the scait (something along those lines) team for further assessment. They think autism/adhd. He loves the iPad but I worry about what he gets out of using it.0 -
