I did not play on this one, but peeps wait until you GET your orders before complaining. its quite common for the emails to have missing items but the order is ok. I think last time when a decent glitch was on most of us had missing items but only a few had some missing. and im sure the few were still happy. it will only be a few days before you find out for SURE :)

    Neither did I.

Thank you. Eyesight will return but probably not till christmas. Can still operate fine, but not worth the risk of driving.
This was my first visit to ikea. Something's are expensive but others are cheap. Especially the little bits and pieces. Got some lovely tea light lanterns for £1.50, that will be great for Xmas pressies, and some porcelain plant pots for 50p. To be honest there was a lack of stuff due to the students moving. Seems all the students moving into houses had chosen the 1st to move.
  • FB person just turned up to pick up the old TV unit I'd listed for free, she had re-arranged for 6pm so just over an hour late and arrived at the same time as someone else who was buying stuff from me.
Now just to get a reply from the person from freegle to see if they'll be picking up the old huge TV and the broken flat screen TV before I relist them or take them to the dump. I think this will be the last lot I'll put on there because I'm fed up with all the waiting about, I do think that because they're getting it free they don't see the need to hurry and pick up.
I usually offer to deliver because at least if they're not in I can leave the item somewhere safe or with a neighbour. For this reason I always have bin bags and a notebook in my boot and yes these do come in handy for disposing of bodies and noting down where I've put them :rotfl:

Just popping in to see how you are all doing today

Had a busy day sewing and ironing ready for the first day of school tomorrow. DD2s first day at high school :( She is excited but getting nervous now. Her cousin is in the year above her so he is going to call for her on his way to school which makes me feel better.

Just got to get everyone bathed and into bed early (me included ) DS2 is first in line for a soaking and he is none too impressed. Telling me he is hungry even though he has ate like a horse all day. He is asking me will I let him have a snack and watch a dvd before bed if he does his cute face :rotfl:

He starts yr 1 tomorrow so no more mummy going into class with him :( I have to line him up in the playground and leave him to go in all by himself - not that it will bother him at all.

Glad your first day back in work was a good un tweets :T

Good luck tomorrow leaving him. No mummy tears :(

I can still remember leaving my DS and him crying which set me off :)
