  • And what about this so-called 'children's film' or 'family entertainment'; I don't know how they get away with still showing it on telly:eek:

It's quite a famous one now, written by journalist Rick Polito. My favourite movie synopsis of his is

Interview with a Vampire: Tom Cruise is a soulless recluse who lurks in the darkness and sucks the life from all who come near him. He’s also in this movie about a vampire.

    Good evening all

Just spent a lovely day with family Today is our ruby anniversary

DD took us back to the church where we married to get some pictures taken than back for a giggle at the rather dated wedding album and old photos One GD thought the bride was her mother :rotfl:

Carry out for dinner Indian, Chinese, and McD's

Dishwasher on and the place tidied by the kids

Putting my feet for a bit to catch up unless I need to run to sada

    Enjoy your evening

Congrats...and stay out of sada tonight if you want to make it to 41 :rotfl:

When my children used to watch Postman Pat, I used to get frustrated as the commentator would say about how kind he was…. by taking a loaf of bread to Granny Drydon.

What they missed off, was that he left her home alone in an isolated farm house in 5 foot of snow….. which I think was not kind or acceptable!!

  • Happy anniversary Mr & Mrs Mac , glad you had a lovely family day.

It has been a beautiful sunny day here . Thank you everyone for your kind words this morning. My son strolled in at 9 am with tales of their great night sleeping out under the stars with a campfire, toasting marshmallows and having campfire toast. There was eight of them.

He then took his brother (DS2)out fishing for 6 hours, they even caught fish.

He rides a motorbike , we bought him one for his 16 birthday, so that adds to my grey ing hair. Mad I know but my Dad bought a moped for me when I was sixteen . We lived in a small village so I loved the independence. I remember the freedom it gave me. DS1 loves the freedom too. He goes to college and work on it, as well as popping here there and everywhere. I am hoping it will help to get car insurance down when he learns to drive , and give him good road awareness( you need that on a bike).
Anyway I have waffled for long enough.

    Thank you all again

I got my second paying out womble of the year last week! 34p... I don't think it is worth printing is it? :o
I would, personally; and have done, for less than that.
It's one-and-a-bit tins of smartprice beans; or three loaves of whoopsie bread; or a tin of beans and a loaf:)

Has anyone ever worked out the cost of printing an APG?

I will save it until the end of the month just in case I get to do 10 glitch shops worth more. :rotfl:
