Don't know if nationwide, but Wickes has grow bags for £1 each. I saw a pallet full outside the store this morning.

    Like these.

    Morning :)
I liked to be the taxi one for that reason too :rotfl:
Also use to like picking them up from school as would be much chatter from them then. Once they got home it would be straight to bedrooms to do homework, listen to music, chill out, etc.
My ds is in his late 20s now and doesnt live at home. But sometimes he comes home and goes out with local friends and then I up waiting for him to come home. Bit ironic really, as when he is in his own flat I dont know if he is there or at some wild party

Yes same here I loved picking my gang up from wherever school/college/scouts/guides/ATC/drama/clubs/parties/work etc-
that 10 or 15 min drive in the car to and from home was when we could have proper chats so I could get to know what really was going on - some days I was in the car nearly 2 hours driving kids to and from places - never resented it, relished the time, gone all too quickly now :(
Mind you this was prior to mobile phones and iPods and tablets and FB which kids are now glued to every hour of every day - it must be difficult to get any conversation now out of any child.
“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”

Afternoon, I've also seen Pride this morning and thought it was a brilliant film, way better than I was expecting. Wish they had told us if Joe (Bromley) had a reconciliation with his parents and what he is doing now like they did with some of the other characters. :)

It was a great film. I love British films. 1980's was an interesting time in history.
