I gave these away as presents as I have really old sabatier knives which are wonderful & sharpen beautifully.

I haven't used mine yet, only got one set. But like you have Sabatier that are still going strong except for one missing knife.

The Sabatier were a wedding present so 25 years old now but Mr TS does have to sharpen them now.

Yes, why was it so horrible, was it just too sweet? I have a couple bottles of that.

I think it might have been the sweetness. We have had it a while. His mate brings them back from France, he goes regularly. He gave Mr TS a box for his 40th nearly 9 years ago now and then on the odd BBQ brings round another bottle that does not get drunk.

I'm wondering if I haven't done my stock rotation properly and this bottle was really old. :rotfl:

Although it didn't stop Mr TS drinking it.

I think possibly my taste has changed, because I had a sip of Asti last week and I didn't like that either. I have become a wine snob. :o

:T:T:T I bet we could start a really long list. ;)

Can you imagine going to a new friend's house and them having stuff you know was glitching once. Wonder if we would be brave enough to ask are you a friend of Martins? :rotfl:
