Loving the news. Martin Lewis you are an absolute Legend Sir !!

His campaign for financial education has worked and according to sky news being rolled out in England the now. Hopefully whole country soon.

How amazing that one man has impacted people lives in such volumes. He's a scatter fertiliser. Telling hundred people who told their friends and families to stand up and not be unfairly treat financially anymore.

He has educated the masses and they will go on to educate more.

Unbelievable well done Martin Lewis :T:T

On a selfish side note, he gave me you lot :A

PS I have not been drinking :)

I heard about this earlier. Apparently a quarter of people do not know what the initials APR mean, and a stunning one in five do not know what a mortgage is.:( We have a very significant part of the population who are beyond merely financial ignorance in my view.

Apparently we waste about £420 a year each through not reading the full terms and conditions and doing things that incur penalties. That is 29.4 billion pounds. That is a lot of money that is going to companies who deal in the financial services area. I suspect people incur penalties in ignorance - most people are unaware of the terms and conditions, and what hope when 20% don't even know what a mortgage is, let alone the terms and conditions of one they may have?:(

You get what you pay for . In my opinion nothing beats the iPad lol.

Agreed. I've had mine for about 15 months now and never leave the house without it. I payed for the cellular option which was about £300 i think  but it has been worth it just for keeping up,with the forum.

Also with the simple soap does anyone know if they individually wrapped? Thanks

Its malwarebytes. Just hope you haven't got that bug I had have you looked if there is anything in add ons that's where my bug was hiding

    Thank you (and E).
I will try that tomorrow. I know I have a trojan bug on lappy but it says it is isolated and safe. Interesting as mum is also having a pop up problem on her brand new lappy. So I presume I google malwarebytes and run on lappy and could well sort it out.
Mums new lappy has been doing this longer than mine so will do hers to. Was so mad I nearly paid out tonight but knew the Elite had the answer.

On the plus side have worked out how to add emoticons on my phone, now trying to see if I can add to my tablet keyboard.

Message for Naebbirac 'The eagle has landed' and he was asking sister to go chippy tonight:T
Please take care of your back tonight.

Thanks. Is this a glitch though?

The sel was £3.79 for this HUKD OP 5 hours ago
    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/nescafe-original-coffee-200g-50-free-300g-jar-lidl-1994355

When I saw the OP on here I nearly posted to say that is quite a good price (just over £1.26/100g).

Now, having being prompted, I'll say I don't think this is a glitch, but I think it's quite a good price.:)

For anyone still wanting to use GR vouchers, this is about the best combo:)

    Pork belly Main. £9
    Millionaire shortbread £3.80
    Wine £7
    Potato side £3

    Totals £22.80

So you only need to spend £2.20 to get to the magic £25

There's some pasta sauces for £2.20. Tomato and porcini and Tomato and mascarpone

Total cost will be £12.20 less £5 GR

£7.20 for all the above is a good deal I think:)

    Here is the main:)

Got this on Thursday and cooked the pork today. Was thinking, do people really pay £9 for a tiny bit of pork
    Was very nice though
Will go out Tuesday and get some more to use up GR vouchers too.

When these GR vouchers finish end of September, is that the end of M&S vouchers. Cant remember what the email said. I know there was something about only getting one a month, but not sure if it was finishing end of September.

    tia :)

You are completely right Savvy. I fortunately have educated myself with the facts and have taught mine as well. However my parents used to take bank loans , short term loan, provident shopachecks , every kind of expensive credit going and say it was the norm. Which maybe it was.

I'm happy to break the norm :)
