I charged £1 for 2 at first and then when it died down a bit I made them £1 for 3 to shift the last of them. I was determined not to come home with any :rotfl::rotfl:

Looks like they did mainly a BM shop:(. Not that the prices are any good to try to match to - they paid way over the odds on Mr A prices on probably all of this.

Velvet loo rolls aren't 10% cheaper than E or M (same price £3.75) but way too expensive whichever way they are bought in my view.
Echo Falls showing £4.89 T and M - sure there's some cheaper wines than that in M. May even be a different Echo Falls on 'offer' at the moment.

this is what happened with my dad, this time last year. It took me an hour drive to get to the home and an hour to drive back and he just lay there on his bed, mostly asleep but sometimes just ignoring me. It was heartbreaking and sometimes I had to leave within minutes of arriving, it was so upsetting.
My Dad literally gave up, he was fine one week, chatting away as usual and the next not, he just took to his bed and we never got the chance to speak to him properly again.
He thought he was not being cared for in the home even though he was. He had an ulcerated foot which he thought was not getting looked after even though it was untreable. He just wanted to be in hospital - the old fashioned view that if you are ill you get admitted to hospital with a doctor on hand. So he manipulated the situation - refused food, didn't ring the bell when he needed to be made comfortable and was as difficult as he could be.
And he did get his wish and was admitted to hospital.
Your mum still seems to have some fight left in her and at least you are getting some time to talk when she is lucid.
