APG checking is saying wait till 6am again.

I bought 3 original chargrills the other day. Can't say I enjoyed them.Very rubbery.

My Mum is still with us but very very frail. She had a bit to eat yesterday. The first for 4 days.

She spent the whole time I was there yesterday asleep.

Oh is your mum poorly Sal? :( I would've missed this with being away. I'm very sorry to hear. Don't forget to look after you, it can be hard work looking after someone at home hug4.gif

As for those chargrills, I agree! DS2 eats them. And they must come from chickens with shrinking breasts! :D another victim of 'downsizing'

I find that if you slice or chop them after cooking and serve with tortilla wraps and sliced peppers, toms salad etc mayo or a chilli sauce they are less rubbery and more bearable. :)

Mum has been in a care home for 3 years. She has advanced heart failure so is constantly getting chest infections and fluid around her heart. Her legs fill up with fluid as well.
We were told last week that her kidneys were failing.

The doctor was really worried so gave her medication to remove all the fluid. He wasn't sure what the outcome would be.

It is still uncertain but she is very tough although she was very frightened this time. She has told us that you are not dead when you go to the crematorium. She doesn't like the idea of being put in a black case as she put it.

Very confused at times. She has had a few visits from people that died many years ago.Vivid descriptions of clothes to haircuts that they now have.
