Someone was trying to tell me this morning that the government recommendations for alcohol consumption has dropped again and now its only 18 units per week for ladies :(

Is that a good or bad thing? I have no idea how big or small a unit is.
I probably wouldn't drink that much in a year :o

    Fab find :D

Anything else on clearance in Sainsbobs?

I was hoping just to do an Sada run today but looking for red sale labels in Sainsbobs is such fun :)

A very bad thing - it was 21

And yes it very hard to be accurate. If you have a small bottle of cider or beer or a mini bottle of wine that's fine as it says what the units are on the label

A pub unit is also accurate as well.

But if you are sharing a bottle or at a party it's just guesswork

The 1p SEL shows occasionally but not very often...its more a case of keeping an eye on the web and keeping an eye on things- christmas, easter, mothers and fathers day and halloween all generally have stuff go to 1p at the end of sale time, its just a case of scanning and hoping!

I have 1p SEL in my drawer as a memento of finding a full clipstrap of photo keyrings :rotfl::rotfl:

BBC News has moved channels on Freeview (we weren't paying anything for that, other than the TV licence itself) and Youview (don't know anything about that) - they have a scrolling caption with details of a link on how to retune. What is the point of that? Are they still on the old channel for those who haven't yet retuned?

Savvy I don't know if anyone answered your question.
Our tellies haven't been retuned yet (too lazy to remember) as the channels we use daily haven't moved.
If I look at the TV guide for channel 80 (bbc news) it tells me it's now on channel 130 and if I go to channel 80 I get a black screen with white writing telling me where all the new channels should be.

I suppose I should do a retune, just have no idea how to :o
I remember when I as younger it was a right kerfuffle to manually tune in a telly :rotfl:
