- If I have breakdown cover on my car insurance policy, will a breakdown callout be classed as a claim?
- Page 32 of this document - it says "You cannot transfer your No Claims Discount to anyone else." Does this mean I cannot transfer my NCB, with another 1 year NCB if I don't claim, to another insurer on my next policy?

1. No - entirely different companies, it is unlikely that your insurer would even know you had called out for a breakdown - it's just a product they have bolted on to your insurance to get your business.
2. It just means to you can't 'sell' your NCB to another person - your NCB is allowed to go with you to another insurer

2. The only instances where you wouldn't usually be able to take it would be if you've obtained it using some kind of 'accelerated' policy. Often insurers won't treat these as NCB if earnt elsewhere.
Otherwise, as said, just means you can't give your NCB to someone, they are yours, only yours0
