Is it legal to sell a house without separate electricity meter?

Hilarious? You clearly don't appreciate the potential consequences of this. What happens when someone wants an extra phone line, or they need to investigate a fault? Are they going to have to rip your floor up? What did your solicitor say about the easements that must exist to facilitate this access (I'm guessing nothing)?
I will repeat my previous advice to instruct a solicitor.0 -
Hilarious? You find the prospect of endless hassle/legal action funny?
Sort it out! Pronto!0 -
Hilarious as it's very easy to sort out with BT to move the lines to an outside box so that the lines can be separated, won't cost us anything but will allow other houses to have their own phone lines which they can't at present. And has made developer agree to sit down to discuss electricity meters (as he realizes it will be hard to sell his other houses without phones).0
