For over a year now I've been using an Huawei E5331 Mi-fi unit with a 3 data SIM when away from home.
I'm currently away in a location I use regularly but the signal/connection has been very poor. The other night, unable to connect, I took the SIM out and put it in a Huawei E353 dongle I used prior to getting the Mi-fi unit. Using a 5m extension lead, I put the dongle about 20" away from where the Mi-fi unit had been, and got a connection. Lost connection again last night, switched to the dongle, and again got a useable connection.
So...........not being overly technical, why am I getting a connection with one but not the other. I always get an excellent connection with the Mi-fi unit, but it's it that's regularly losing connection with cyberspace.
Any help would be appreciated.
