I noticed that from the 5% savings loophole page that one can open up to 4 TSB classic plus accounts, of which 2 must be joint.

I am wondering if I already open one Classic Plus account, how can I possibly open another identical account on my own? (not a joint one.)
:huh::huh:

Just input exactly the same personal details and submit? They system one flag up? or it is genuinely allowed?

Cheers.

  • Do you have online access to your first account? If so, you can simply apply for a second one from the "compare and apply" section.

    And this will allow me open another sole account under the same terms?

    Will give it a try. Haven't fully set up my online access.

    If I remember correctly, you have to apply for the second account while you are logged out of the first.

    If you apply while logged in, the application fails. This is obviously a bug and they may have fixed it by now.

    Why do you want multiple accounts?

    Why do you want multiple accounts?

    So they can save £4000 at 5% (2 x £2000) rather than just £2000
