I can't use the bathroom after dark (unless I climb up a ladder to turn the fan off, which I must get round to doing some time) .... I can't tell you the name as it's dark and I'd have to turn the light on to see it - and once the light goes on, the clattering starts.
BUT, does it clear your bathroom??
Mine too sounds awful, I don't care, I have my ears full of water and towel but by the time I'm done, no steam.:D:DI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

I got this one and fitted it in the loft

works really well compared to the one that had been fitted before . Also as it is in the loft it is quiet0 -

yep exactly correct, isolated from the ceiling, essential to avoid noise and vibes
But do take car that there is no fall and rise up to the outlet, you can creat a water trap as I know to my detriment :eek:I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Update. Fitted a humidistat to my extractor fan. The extractor was on a different circuit to the lights and had its own pull cord switch.
I leave the switch on all the time and the humidistat works as a switch and have the left the humidity at 70%. No need to worry about turning it on and off.“Don't raise your voice, improve your argument." - Desmond Tutu

Looking at the way the roof timber run I'd guess it exits through a hole in the gable end, but you can drop down through the soffit if it's wide enough.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
