Mis-sold Gap Insurance

I believe that I was mis sold gap insurance, when purchasing my car a few years back. I was told that it was compulsory, otherwise I would not be able to have the car. Do I have a case to claim, as I have since found out that it was not compulsory?

Can you prove it?0

No, its my word against the dealerships that's the trouble.0

Well, the only proof that I have is that I had somebody else with me when it was said by the dealer.0

That's not "proof". The person you had with you could hardly be described as an impartial witness.jack_gutteridge wrote: »Well, the only proof that I have is that I had somebody else with me when it was said by the dealer.

"Hearsay" complaints are an easy rejection and are not upheld.0
