Heeeeeelp!!

I know this isnt the right section, but i couldnt think where else to put it.

Recieved a card today - just like one from a parcel company saying they missed me, and to ring them up.

So i did, they took my number and said they will re deleiver by Friday - I'm all happy at this point thinking its a competiton win.

Until i turn it over and realise its been sent to me :S

Its from a company called firstdirect logistics, googled it and it says its a delievery company? But why send a card? Then again thru google came another site, saying it was a con and it was a debt company :S

Anyone have any experience of these?

Thanks in advance

Why don't you wait on the street when they come & you can see if they carry a parcel to your house. If not, walk by and say your a neighbour & will take delivery of letter/whatever.

    Good luck

I have just looked and it certainly seems like a trick to get you to confirm your current address etc AND they know now know when you will be home. Have you tried googling the actual phone no? that might clarify whether its the genuine delivery company or these debt collectors.

You could try answering the door and pretending to be a neighbour left to receive said parcel.

  • oh dear i have heard of this happening, put a note on the door saying sorry you had to be called away in an emergency that you will have to arrange another date for delivery. then dont.

If the cards posted to you its almost certainly a scam. Would'nt worry about them coming out though, I very much doubt they will.

Read this, should give you all the info you need to know:
