Weird problem with ipod tower speaker

After about 15 mins of playing sound the tower goes on standby by itself. It's getting very annoying as I have to keep switching back on. The link below is the same type of tower I have. It's like a timer is on but I can't see any option on the remote for timer.

Anyone know what it could be and why it just randomly goes on to standby after a short while?
