Recognising just how darned dangerous a chainsaw CAN be in inexperienced hands, how about something like the B&D "Scorpion" saw that Asda's been flogging off cheaply (£25, inc 3 blades)?

I have one of these and it's proven more than capable for pruning the trees in the jungle I jokingly call a back garden. IMHO certainly a lot, lot safer than a petrol chainsaw in inexperienced hands....PLEASE NOTE:
