Hi guys :hello:
ive managed to set Outlook up for myself but one thing that does elude me is the fact of having two email accounts
On Outlook 2003 that i have on my old laptop i was able to switch between different accounts by selecting from the drop down menu "switch identity"
Is there anything similar on Outlook 2007 cos ive had a look and on the help menu and i really cant figure it out if there is or isnt
any help would be much appreciated

Once you have setup your accounts via Tools -> Account Settings, you then have a button when creating an email which allows you to chose which account to send the mail via.
I'm not sure this is exactly what you want, as I'm guessing by 'Identity Switching' you want to be able to see emails from just one Identity or the other.. However as far as I'm aware by just adding accounts when you send/receive, all of your mails from both accounts will just appear in your inbox.
You can of course then define rules to split the mails into seperate folders to make it easier to tell which mails are from which accounts.0 -
James, If you want to keep the emails separate ie share outlook, do this.
Locate any of the Outlook icons (either on the desktop or on the start menu and right click on it. Click on properties then show profiles, add a new profile. Go through setting up the new account. After clicking OK to create the new mail account you will end up back at the properties page. Select the Prompt for profile to use radio button and click OK. Now when you start outlook you will be asked which profile do you want to use.Comping 2008 wins £4842 2009 wins £950.50 2010 Wins £140 2011 £00 -
