Wedding photo book (MSE worthy!!)

I'm just waiting for our photos to come back from our photographer, and wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to go for us to get the photos made into a wedding album.
The photos will be electronic, so I'm looking for somewhere that will print them as a book. I know places like Boots, Snapfish, Photobox etc do them, but can anyone actually recommend one that's a good service, and not massively overpriced from first hand experience please?

I used vistaprint. I did there large square glossy book with photo cover and lie flat pages, I really wanted the lie flat pages.
It was around £40 but can't remember exactly.
As usual, you can place them, fade them, use them as backgrounds ext.
I also took photos of the paper people wrapped our presents in so that I could use that as backgrounds too, just to make it more personal.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

Lay flat pages allow a photo to stretch across two pages without losing that bit in the middle like you get with a normal book. I have used Vanilla books before not cheap but very nice professional looking books with engraved names on the front, lay flat pages and come in a presentation pouch like below.

If you imagine opening a book, the pages tend to curve at the spine. Lie flat pages lie exactly flat, smooth. You could run a photo over two pages or just have the flat pages, I don't like albums that bend in the middle, that's just a personal preference and I so it was important to me to get it to lie flat.
I can take a photo of it, if you want, I can't really explain what I mean sorry...Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
Albelli is my favourite because of the frames and the backgrounds you can get.0

I was looking at these albums yesterday and they look really nice. I found a 'Premium' book on photobox which i like as it has the soft padded cover but there isn't an option of the lay flat with this cover.
Our wedding isn't until April next year but just seeking different options so thanks for your info :j0 -

Thanks for the info! Do you create your book before you can select the lie flat option, cover etc?0
