tesco ppi reclaim delay

I put in a ppi claim to them,and its just over 7 weeks ,and no news.why does it take so long to analyse,is there more chance of success,the longer they take,and vice versa ?.what are the chances of success with tescos.it was on a credit card,and I had a balance of approx. 5k for 2 years,i paid it off in full a couple of times,as I transferred it to a 0% cc,but then took money out to a 5k balance again.anyone have an idea if successful what I would expect to get.

They have eight weeks to consider your concerns.
If successful you will receive a refund of what you paid plus attendant interest plus 8% simple interest.
You do not provide anywhere near enough information about your account for anyone to predict the amount you might receive.

It's certain you didn't have a balance at a constant £5K, for example, it would only have gradually climbed to this.

I used to take out 5k cash in one transaction for something I was trying out to make money,this happened a couple of times,also how many pence in the pound would the ppi be.

Generally between 70p and 80p per £100 balance.

You've not indicated why you believe the policy was mis-sold?
