I am new to this site and not sure if I am in the right forum?
I am totally disgusted with the way the staff and manager in Barker 8 Ltd treated me with regards to a refund! I returned some goods for a refund and a member of staff managed to take out three times the amount they owed me from my account on their visa machine. They refused to give me cash and told me that the money would be in my account that day, I checked the next day and the money is still in the process to be taken out of my account instead of being credited! I spoke to the manager Chris and he refused to take any responsibility. He told me that the money will be credited to my account on Monday. I need advise on what I can do if the money doesn't go into my account on Monday. Also I would like to know who I can complain to because the staff were extremely rude to me, I have gone over drawn in my bank account because of their error and this has caused me a lot of stress. :mad:

I'd be fuming, that's really poor.
Has it been sorted yet?
I'm not familiar with that company - is it a small business, or does it have a few branches? Is there a website - does it tell you how to make a formal complaint?
If so, I'd go down that route.
You were overcharged bit time and then went overdrawn - no doubt at further cost to you, I'd be wanting a grovelling apology and some compensation for the stress and losses.0
