Ataxia & Crohn's London to Paris Bike Ride

This time next Wednesday (25.07.2007) my Dad will be cycling from London to Paris – oh yes, cycling!! – 300+ miles in four days!

He will be cycling for Ataxia and Crohns – both crippling diseases, which affect the lives of both sufferers and their friends and relatives.

For neither is there a cure – and that’s why we’re raising money – to fund research so that future generations will have effective treatments.

I know it’s only a week away, but you’d be surprised how much your sponsorship would be an incentive to him! (He’s gotta do it if you pay him!!)

I’m so proud of Dad for doing this, as he’s a fan of a beer and cigarette or two, but seeing how Ataxia has affected our very close friend, Jamie, over the past 4 years or so, he’s determined to help find more effective treatments and, ultimately, one day a cure.

Dad will be riding with, amongst others, one of his best friends, and Jamie’s Dad, Andrew on 25th July 2007.
