Benson's for beds-why won't you post my review?

Options
I recently wrote a negative review and sent it to Bensons for Beds outlining my own personal experience regarding their Dual Support pillows, which we had been advised to purchase when we had bought our bed.
My family had found the pillows very hard to sleep on and we all woke every morning with neck ache so I explained this in my review and said how disappointed we were with the pillows.

I contacted Bensons about a week later to ask when my review would be posted but they informed me that they don't always use every review sent to them. I did notice that the only previous review that had been posted for the pillows was a positive 5 star one.
I sent an email back asking for some of their company guidelines for writing reviews as I was willing to rewrite my review according to their guidelines. I also stated that I hoped it wasn't just positive reviews that were posted? I am very disappointed because I haven't even received a reply!
I know that businesses do not like negative reviews but surely they owe it to their customers to give them a complete picture of a product? Also surely they can use negative reviews in a positive way-for example to help design better future products?

The first bit of that is right, but no of course they don't owe it to their customers to publish negative reviews.

    Maybe they have.
They can do that without publishing the negative reviews.

Any decent company would be grateful for the feedback.

    Wealdroam,

Thanks for the comments, it's a shame when a business only posts positive reviews because many stores do print both positive and negative reviews.

I love the quote by the way!
