Dudley BS - 7% Regular Saver

Hi All
First post, please be gentle....
The Dudley Building Society have a 1 Year Fixed Rate Regular Saver at 7.00% AER
Minimum Investment: £50 per month
Maximum Investment: £300 per month
No withdrawals allowed within the twelve month period
To a novice like myself it appears very similar to the Halifax Regular Saver, with the advantage of a higher monthly investment (£300 v £250).
Unfortunately though it seems the account can only be opened in person at one of their branches, but may be interesting for some if close enough?
