raspberry ketone beware

I have just been on a site advertised by aol promoting raspberry ketones and cleanse extreme as a free trial ( paying p+p)
I was stupid and didn't click on the terms and conditions (in very small print at the bottom) and by applying to the free trial I was signed up to a £95 a month subscription.
I have just managed to cancel it as I was within the 14 days but beware - the company will not inform you of the subscription and will just take the money from your account on a monthly basis.
Serves me right for trying to lose weight without the hard work but its very misleading.

Duh I really am gullible. Luckily I have managed to cancel the order over the phone and by email but should I contact my bank and inform them that it has been cancelled or should I rely on the guys word over the phone.
At 52 I should be old enough to know better but you live and learn!0 -

Beware, I was scammed as well (?) when I rang to cancel the girl insisted I accept a free gift as a form of apology for my inconvenience. Just had to pay the p&p, the girl was most insistent I accept.
What they are sending is another subscription to various magazines/ web sites (gardens monthly or something like that) which are chargeable, the first thing you notice is an item on your credit card bill. They have passed your details to Rocket Marketing in Brighton.
Be very careful.0 -

Isn't the whole Raspberry Ketone weight loss thing a big con in it's own right?0

Very probably
My wife fell for the Mizulean sales pitch without realising the sting in the tail. In our case it had a recommendation from the Channel 4 TV web site.
Same people, same modus operandi, same worthless overpriced products.
As they are US based I don't think they can be touched in the UK but they do have a distribution centre here.0
