Good morning need a little advice,
I have been looking at my credit file and it is far from prefect i have a number of defaults 2 will drop off end of September this year and 4 end of January 2015.
After these have dropped off ill be left with 1 default £181 and which started 2013 and one CCJ £551 that was started 2014
Should i settle the £181 default and £551 CCJ soon as possible
In terms of credit now i have 1 CC paid off in full each month never missed a payment and a contract phone paid off each month never missed a payment in 18months.
I also moved house over a year back and not changed it on the electoral registered should i get this updated?
Ay advice would be most kind
Regards
Andy

Yes you should. Firstly you'll be repaying what you owe and feel better for doing so. It will also lessen their impacts to a degree on your ability to get future credit, especially as they'll be on for file for at least the next 5-6 years (depending when in 2013 and 2014 the default date is listed). Time would be the best healer of the latter point though.0
