New divan bed with pocket springs advice

Anybody an expert on beds?
We are buying a new bed as our existing one is very old and I am suffering some neck and shoulder pain.
We went to the local store and tried out a number of their Harrisons pocket spring divan beds. The most comfortable was a 11250 pocket spring so we have decided to go for that. Expensive it is (£2500 ish with headboard).
Since paying the deposit I have done a bit of research on beds (maybe should have done first ??) and people are saying that you don't need more than about 1000 pocket springs. Well, our new bed exceeds that by miles and miles!
Although the bed seems very comfy, have we made a mistake? Only just placed order so maybe not too late to change our minds.

The number of springs is totally irrelevant as long as the bed is comfy for you. It's probably that the benefit tails off as you get over 1000 springs with increasing cost but if you're happy then that's all that matters.0
