Have 0% credit card - how does the old debt transfer??

Hi

I successfully applied for a barclay 0% credit card last week and received it on Tuesday. During the application process I had to enter my previous credit card number and the amount of debt I would like to transfer. Does this shift automatically or do I now use my new card to pay off the old one?

The debt from your old card should transfer onto the barclaycard. Check to see if the amount of debt you transfered is on the barclaycard, and likewise see if the debt is no longer on your old card.

Have checked both accounts and hasn't transferred yet. It has been 5 working days so was beginning to panic thinking I needed to do it manually.
