Large sticker to go on bag?

I wonder if you can help.
My DS is going off on a 5 day and night school trip in a few weeks. I have a bag for him to take his belongings in, but there is a slogan on the side that is more suited to girls than boys.
I don't want him being ribbed about it, but equally would sooner not have to buy a new bag for a week away that is likely to trash it and throw it away.
So my question is does anyone know of any large stickers that would be suitable for the outside of a bag, say 20 cm x 20 cm
Many thanks

Cant you just borrow a bag from a friend /family member or have a discreet word with the class teacher and ask if theres one at school? A large sticker could attract more attention than a funny slogan.0

If the bag doesn't need to be returned to anyone...how about using a permanent black marker to block out the slogan?SPC7 ~ Member#390 ~ £432.45 declared :j

if the bag is 'cloth' then you can use iron on hemming tape to stick another layer of fabric on - perhaps a piece cut off a footy shirt? or an old sweatshirt with a slogan which is liked?
or use fabric glue such as 'no-sew'? or even a silicone glue or hot glue gun.0 -
I`d sew on a patch or two to make it look like its the design!!DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

I'm sure in a charity shop you could get a bag for an ok price so that might be better than the bag being coveted with a sticker which might stand out as odd.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0

Or why not teach your son not to care about what other people (may) think? Has he even raised this concern anyway, or is it your worry?
It just sounds to me like you're overthinking this a little...0 -
The wallpaper section of DIY shops have stickers to do a child's bedroom wall with. I had Dora The Explorer ones all over my daughter's lampshade for years, so can say they are durable. Alternatively a square of paper with with his name and postcode and a message return if lost, written in marker pen and held on with suitable masking tape?0

Get him his own bag. It can double up as his new 'back to school' bag. PLEASE don't send him with a girls bag with a sticker covering it...it is highly likely to get ripped off
All the telling him not to worry about what others think is completely irrelevant to school kids - they DO care what other kids think - they are not old enough to have the insight that other pples opinions mean nothing. All most kids want to do is fit in and be like everyone elseWith love, POSR0 -

That's what I was thinking - there are plenty of patches on ebay/amazon....although once you've bought patches you may have been able to buy a decent second hand boy's bag off ebay for the same money.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
Forget patches, stickers bodged up felt pen - bags, holdall or whatever can be bought really cheaply, infact stuff has never been so cheap, there are pleny of bargains around - just buy him his own bag0
