No, this will not work in your car, it plugs into a house mains socket and lets you use your car charger.

Do you have a USB cable for your phone?
    Do you have a PC?
If so plug the cable into the phone and the USB into your PC.
If the phone charges this way then this item should do the trick for your car (if you have a cigarette lighter socket).

Thanx I will check those out, its pointed me in the right direction anyway. It's a k610i though which isnt listed on that last one but I'll find one thats suitable. I was hoping there may be a universal one as she will change the phone when the contacts up its not a very good phone at all.
    Thanx

Just as a caution, I have found that newer Sony Erricsons tend to only be happy with pukka Sony Erricson car chargers.

She will be OK then, as she has a Sony Ericsson.

I`m on a mission to get a usb charging lead for as many of the rechargeable gadgets I have as possible. Then I only need one heavy adaptor when out and about, and the home charging station is neater too.

Dealextreme.com have this usb charging lead which comes with a variety of ends for a couple of quid delivered. It feels a bit flimsy but for holidays etc its better than a heavy bag of assorted chargers.
