I'll buy myself a biscuit tomorrow.
In all seriousness, I'm glad I found this forum. Very helpful indeed. I'm more-than-happy for others to learn from my case. All the best to all of them.0 -
Bumping this one for others to see if too lazy to search.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for this post and "bumping"!
I have a UKPC appeal pending with POPLA at present and I was wondering what the process is when a PPC present their side of the story and if I would get the opportunity to respond to it rather than just see it.
Thanks again0 -
you have a few days to send in a popla rebuttal after you receive the PPC evidence pack
sometimes no evidence pack is supplied by the ppc to any party, in which case popla deal with your case "as is" , so no rebuttals due to no evidence pack
so if a PPC wishes to rebut your popla appeal they send in an evidence pack including their rebuttals, you have to receive a copy of this yourself, in which case you quickly submit a rebuttal to popla , before they rule on the appeal
this also is sent by popla to the PPC, so a game of ping pong can occur , but usually doesnt - when it does, the decision is delayed accordingly, until both sides run out of steam0 -
Thanks, that's really useful to know.
When I wrote the appeal I tried to think what their "comeback" might be and tried to pre-empt it in my points. However, I think I'll go through my appeal again and try to look at it from a third party perspective/with consideration of this threads content and think about what they may come back with.
My appeal is set to be reviewed on or shortly after 6th May, so should have some time to think about it!
Thanks again0 -
also do a forum search for other REBUTTALS to any PPC so you are aware of what they all tend to come back with, if anything at all
I have read several rebuttals so know quite a few exist on here0
