It was more complex than this, and I apologise for not making it clear. The kitchen was designed by Jewson, supplied by Jewson, and fitted by a fitter working for me. Jewson used the brains and skills of this fitter in an attempt to overcome all their errors with the design, supply and missing pieces. Which, of course, cost me money, because I was paying the fitter's costs.

Ultimately I went back to Jewson and said "you are having a laugh expecting me to pay all that money for your kitchen". It became apparent that nobody is accountable for anything within Jewson. So a wrangle started...but that's another story!

We had a very different experience.
  • wow. are the rail handles made of gold or silver? Im guessing gold at that price.

The granite, elica hood and top of the range Miele appliances could easily cost 10 - 15 k on their own

That's about a 3rd of the cost of building that house, in a DIY forum that seems funny/awkward/ob:eek::eek::eek::eek:scene

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
  • Depending on which part of the country you are from, prices are always different, order your kitchen from places around London, you are going to get your bum slapped, work surfaces are also high, but appliances are always going to be around the same prices.
