Winter planting

I've got an allotment and a garden. On my allotment I've just put in second cropping potatoes, and am planning broad beans, onions, garlic and have got some winter cabbages in. I've also got sprouts, broccoli and kale in.
I don't generally like root veg, so swede, parsnips and turnips et al are not an option. I've got carrots in.
I'll put broad beans, onions and garlic in the garden too.
Is there anything that you would plant?
During the winter, my time at both places is going to be limited to the weekends and odd days off work.

We have a garden and allotment as well. This year we have only grown produce on our allotment. But what you are planning is loads so if I was growing all that then No I wouldnot plant any more. We can only go at weekends as well and for as long as we have light nights.
As it is, only kale over winters on our plots, nothing else manages it through the winter.0 -
There was an article in the paper the other day about certain types of chard being ok to grow overwinter. Not tried it myself though. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I am planning on growing green manure for my allotment over Winter. It can suppress weeds and stop nutrients leaching. You just dig them in in Spring

I am planning on bringing in my tomato plants into the house so that we can have them as long as they last. Has anyone else done this? How long do they last for?0
