Kitchen Dilemma !!

I am looking to get a new kitchen installed & I thought it would be so easy!
The work is to include the supply and fitting of cabinets, worktop, appliances (integrated washing machine, gas hob, single oven, combi microwave and chimney hood), flooring, and ceiling/under-cabinet lighting and all the three quotes are based on the same design.
So far, I have had three different quotes received as below :-
1. Howdens (Supply only) – Glendoven Range - £7500 including VAT for 8 units and Bosch appliances + £2500 for fitting (through a local fitter)
2. Local kitchen showroom (Supply and fit) – JJO Colonial range - £8000 including VAT for 11 Units and appliances, laminate worktop, Karndean flooring and ceiling/under cabinet lighting
3. Local kitchen showroom (Supply and fit) – Pronorm Proline range - £15500 including VAT for 13 Units and Hotpoint appliances, laminate worktop, tiled flooring and ceiling/under cabinet lighting.
At the moment, Quote no.2 as above seems to be the least expensive quote for the same design, however, I have not heard enough about JJO Colonial range kitchens. Can someone please shed some more light from their experience on the quality of this kitchen range?

The appliances from Howdens are really expensive. If you like those Bosch appliances - use a comparison website and find them a lot cheaper! You can buy your appliances from anywhere - you're not limited by them fitting into cupboards etc.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Go price it up at DIY Kitchens. And buy all the appliances separately.0

I was also thinking of buying appliances online separately.
In terms of strength and durability, are Howden units better than JJO Colonial Kitchen units?0 -
I've got JJO kitchen and bedroom units and haven't had any problems with them. They were fitted around 5 years ago.0

Thanks SuzieSue,
Certainly gives me a piece of mind. I have looked at JJO Colonial kitchen catalogue, but there was no mention of the type of material they use for constructing their carcasses. Wonder if you would know?0 -
The fitting quote for the howdens ones seems high, does it enclude tiling or lights etc.?
also look like the fitter has a big markup, .on the units.
try diy . Com0 -

I'm afraid I don't know as it was my first kitchen and so I just went on a neighbour's recommendation.
I think that they looked into the quality more than I did and decided that they were better than the DIY sheds but not as good as John Lewis/German kitchens but they didn't want to pay John Lewis prices.0
