How much to rebuild two chimneys?

Options
Hi

I have very big problems going on at the moment, which I would like to discuss later (long story). In the meantime, are there any builders on here who could give me a rough figure for putting up scaffolding on the front of a large detached house, and removing two chimney stacks' then rebuilding them and putting render on them?

Also, how many days work would that take, approximately?

It is a big house on the London/Surrey borders, built in 1904, and although a new roof was fitted 12 years ago, the chimneys stacks, which are quite high were left alone, so they're the original ones built in 1904.

Would anyone have a rough idea of cost of job?

Many thanks in advance :)

Why would you render them? if they have render on, it will have been to extend their lives cheaply. If you're doing it, enjoy the brickwork!

Do you have a picture? The way you describe, they sound like some we're having to do in Chiswick and the two are going to come happily into five figures, but it is a very big house with very big chimneys.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
  • £3500-5000..... don't render them. Just adding more work later....
