  • The My Little Box for September has just arrived!!

It's The My Little Parisienne Box and has a notebook that introduces the brand (gives a little history then blank pages for you to scribble your own notes...like the other boxes you have on order lol!).

It's been sent from France and includes a Laura Mercier product, their own brand product and Nuxe Paris item in the cute cotton bag. The other items are good quality (I've not worked out how to do the spoiler blanking out yet and don't want to spoil the surprise for anyone). Looking forward to next month now!!!
  • ,I got the same as you, Pleut, in my Birchbox. I am happy with the beauty blender, but I thought the rest was a bit stingy! I am pleased with it tho as I did the Living Social deal and got the box for a fiver.
Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE :)

    Got my BB today.
    I got:
    Benefit – It's Potent (3g)
    Agave – Oil Treatment (4ml)
Model Co – Lip Laquer 'Viva' (looks about half sized)
    Skin&Co – Sicilian Light Serum (5ml)
Urban Fruit - Perfect Pineapple (snacky stuff.. already gone :P)
And a BB photo clip thing.

Oh and a beauty blender sponge thing - it comes with instructions which explain why the other ones I use are rubbish :P I'm supposed to wet the sponge first! Whoops!

Oh and it all came in a little drawstring canvas bag - cute.

Not bad. Not brilliant but not bad either :)
Still not sure what I think of getting non-beauty stuff in a 'beauty box' though.

I got the same except from the model co product, I went for the mascara. I am very happy with the first 3 products but I don't get the blender thing that you have wet it first and I have the skin co serum from another box.

Beauty Blender - When wet it stops the makeup soaking in and therefore you use less apparently

I had one a few months ago and it's amazing when used this way

  • You Beauty Disvovery have a limited edition Philip Kingsley box out for £16.95. P&P is free for members.

Looks to be a decent box, but I think I'll give it a miss as I have loads of hair care stuff already.

Looks like a nice box but I don't use that many hair products.

I noticed that the body lotion I got from YBD has a sticker on the bar code saying not for resale. The same was written also on the BB benefit eye cream. I knew that probably the products in the boxes are given for free in exchange of advertisement, but I feel that I could have gotten these products as part of a gift set or over the counter for free...

  • When I look at the contents of a box I think, which are travel size (would cost me to buy) and which are sample sizes (would be given over the counter for free) and that's where I get a bit disappointed with BB. YBD fell into that category this month as well so I hope this is not how it's going to be going forward. After all, all the YBD products get included in a full page advert in the Daily Mail's You Magazine so that must be worth something to the companies involved.
