  • Anyone order the jackpot box from memebox? Some people have received theirs today. I can't wait to see what I get in mine. But chose standard delivery so expect it to be another week at least before it arrives.

I just signed up yesterday for a box then got an email today about the launch...I must of signed up for mailing list a while back and forgot about it. Looking forward to it as it's not all beauty related. Be good to get something different for a change. X

Dammit I must stay strong and not buy another box!! But it looks so cute...

Better quality of product would be my preference. When I first started getting beauty boxes, I used to keep them all (mainly the GB's) because they were pretty and I was sure I'd use them for storage....but there's only so many you can use really, and now I just throw them out if my Mam doesn't want them either.
I agree with Georgiegirl, better quality items as although I LOVE storage boxes there are only so many u can have. Always a good Idea to have the boxes recyclable like souksouk, Lovelula and LMB have.

What kinda sub box is it? X

I had the same feelings especially sitting here looking at a tower of empty Glossy boxes, but it had been a bone of contention but why pay £3 for a box your going to bin rather than £3 on items!

It is more of an adulty box which is the best way of putting it which is what I do at the moment and as i have an unhealthy addiction to sub boxes I thought why not!

"Fashion, beauty and lifestyle surprises delivered to your door."

I've seen the French version of this and it's lovely, so hoping the UK version is going to be equally as good. £11 + 3.95 p&p. If you get it delivered to a work address they knock £1 off. I have no idea why, but that's where it's going for me.

Apologies if it's already been posted here, I've just skim read.

I ordered mine and with a 15% off code worked fine! You don't think they'll cancel orders that used a code do you? :o

I really hope not, I would be really disappointed! :/

To pick your brains as you all know the subscription box scene, would you rather a box is presented in a fancy box all printed up like GB/BB or would you rather have a better quality of product?

We have a sub box hoping to launch in Oct ( not beauty) and wondered what people thought?
Apologies if not appropriate just really curious as i only have the boxes like BB/GB/YBD !
    :D

I'd rather have a better quality product, most of my boxes go to recycling straight away as I just don't know what to do with them.

Saw gysmoo's post about it and thought "oooo tempting, but no, I'll be good", then just read the above second post and thought "hmmm maybe I'll research this further!", so I did (the boxes look really good!), and before I could stop myself, I signed up! You've got to give things a go right?! :p

The only reason I can think of getting a discount if it's sent to your work place is that all your colleagues will see it and want one too? Anyhow, at the moment, since getting made redundant, I'm not working.

But it got me thinking, what if I did actually work from home? After all, my husband does, so our home is his workplace, and same goes for anyone else working from home, their home is their office. I do work from home in the sense that I'm a full time housewife :p so I put my husbands company down and our address! Bit cheeky I know, but hey, it worked!

I knew I should not have looked either!!

Whooops :) it just looks so nice! I need to learn some bloody self control

They are probably offering the discount like as you said so you show people or because they are using a different courier as My Hermes technically are a home delivery service not a business one so they might use Royal Mail tracked
