Quote for Lead pipe removal

I have a semi-detached property where my plumber says the lead pipe is going into the property all the way to the boiler.
To replace that with a 25mm PVC to inside the property and then connect it to the boiler with a 22mm copper pipe would cost £850.
Is that a fair quote?
Thanks

Difficult to say without knowing how long the pipe is or how deep it is buried, etc. I assume you are talking about water pipe? Why do you want to replace it?0
