Think its a rip off price. Probably the company want to sell you a whole new system. And most likely its not needed.

Last pump I had fitted cost £69 + vat. Then fitting costs would be added.
Last valve was about same price. Then fitting should be added.
The valve took all of 15 mins and the pump maybe a half hour.

OK its a few ( think 4 or 5 ) years ago but prices have not risen that dramatically.

Oh and my heating system is original to the house, so 34 ish years old.
    63 mortgage payments to go.

    Zero wins 2016 😥

Plumber90 also PMed me to tout for that work - surprise surprise, I went with a contractor recommended by a friend, not someone who resorts to touting for work on a forum contrary to the forum rules.

I've already reported him twice, let's hope he gets the message this time
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.
  • My pump stop working once, turned out it was just stuck , I undid the screw in the middle and turned the valve with a screwdriver and bingo its worked fine ever since. worth a google before calling anyone out.
