hfc/hsbc/wfac!!!!

Guys i had a loan from hfc which i defaulted on and subsequently i recieved an arresment of wages and at the time i was in a situation financially that was out of control, recently i was contacted by we fight any claim and i normally just hang up or tell these companies go take a hike
I filled in some forms and to my amazement recieved a letter sayin i had ppi on the hfc loan i let them go about there business and was told i would recieve 1800 pojnds from hsbc.
Now im told by hsbc i will recieve 1400 but i need to go and get my signature verified and fanny about getting photocopies etc and posting off to hsbc i contavted we fight any claim and asked why this wasnt pointed out to me buy them after all they told me it was a no hassle ppi reclaim,i feel they havent done there job to the full and i told them i was cancelling any business with them
Byt they stated i would still have to pay them £700 ish for there work even tho i aint recieved any money can they do this? Why shud i pay them when they havent fullfilled there side of the so called work they have done?
Would it be wrong to just follow the claim up on my own and ignore wfac?
Oh and only reason i didnt pursue claim myself as hfc stated there was no ppi on my loan? Loan has now been settled but i still pay off the interest and fees via there lawyers ??

You'll have to pay the CMC.
They are not in any way responsible for HSBC wanting proof of your identity.
The contract you have signed is legally-binding and only requires them to represent you in PPI complaints, not provide a "no hassle PPI claim".

You cannot simply cancel the contract after a successful complaint.
