1) Promotion open to residents of Great Britain, aged 18 or over – proof of address may be required. Entrants must not be employees (nor the family of employees) of John Brown, the John Lewis Partnership, Journey Latin America, the Royal Academy or anyone else professionally linked with the competition.
2) To enter, simply go to waitrose.com/royalacademy and fill in your details before clicking submit.
3) Entries must be received online by 23.59 on 30 September 2014.
4) Only one entry per person.
5) There is one prize of a trip to Argentina for the winner and one guest. The prize consists of: two economy return flights from Heathrow to Buenos Aires including airport taxes; all transport in Argentina; eight nights’ bed and breakfast accommodation; a half-day culinary walking tour of Buenos Aires; a full-day private Estancia excursion with barbecue; and a private vineyard tour in Mendoza visiting two cellars. A regional flight may be added at the winner’s cost. The prize also includes a VIP morning view at the Royal Academy of Arts for the winner and guest to an exhibition of their choice.
6) Transfers in Great Britain are excluded and all other costs and expenses in taking up the prize including, but not limited to, all meals and drinks outside of those included, spending money, tips and gratuities as required and travel insurance are the winners’ and guests’ own. All guests must be 18 years of age or older. Winners and guests are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport and all other travel and health documents necessary to travel to the country of destination. British passport holders do not require a visa for Argentina but if the winner and/or their guest are not in possession of a British passport, they should contact the Argentinian Embassy for the latest advice on entry visas.
7) The holiday is based on two guests sharing a room and must be booked by 31 October 2014 for travel 1 November-30 November 2014 or 1 April-30 June 2015. The holiday is subject to availability and can take three to four weeks to confirm. The winner is therefore advised to state as much flexibility as possible in terms of travel dates and to give as much notice as possible.
8) The winner will be the first entrant drawn at random from all validly submitted. The winner will be selected within 2 days of the closing date and notified by email within a further 2 days.
9) In the event that the winner refuses acceptance of the prize or, for whatever reason, cannot accept the prize, or if the Promoter is unable to make contact with the winner within 7 days of the draw, the Promoter reserves the right to re-draw the prize and award it to an alternative winner.
10) The selection of the winning entry will be supervised by an independent person. The result of the prize draw is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
11) Proof of submitting your entry is not proof of receipt of an entry by the Promoter. The Promoter is not responsible for any entries that fail to be submitted for any technical reason whatsoever.
12) The winner will liaise with Journey Latin America and the Royal Academy of Arts to claim a VIP morning view to an RA exhibition of their choice.

14) The prize is as stated, is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available. The Promoter reserves the right to award an alternative prize of equal or greater value, should the advertised prize or any part of it become unavailable for any reason.
15) The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.
16) Multiple entries, submitted directly or with the use of any automated systems, are not permitted and will not be entered into the draw.
