Been looking at buying one of these. Any favourites on the forum?

Have looked at the Amazon top-buys. Just wondered if there was anything out there that is better?

I'd especially like comments from people that have used one for a while.

I bought a Polti Pocket, after it was recommended to me by a friend. It comes with all the various attachments for floors, windows, grout etc. I use it for cuddly toys too!

The neat thing about it is it's very portable, you can wear it over your shoulder to carry upstairs etc, and it tucks away on a shelf in my understairs cupboard, unlike an upright/vacuum cleaner style steamer.

I have the Morphy-Richards 9 in 1 - it is used mainly on the kitchen and bathroom floors which are both smooth(ish) quarry tiles.
Absolutely great !
The most common "problem" people report with these machines is that they leave the floor wet. I would say that this is caused by incorrect use - holding the "steam" control open all the time usually. Also when you have finished the floor don't just leave it sitting there - the head is very hot and steamy, when it cools down it generates a puddle !
