Stumbled across the fine which Kensington recieved about there fees charges Etc.
I have a mortgage with Kensington and over the last 6 years have incurred 35 x £50 monthly charges.
Am I right in thinking I can reclaim these from them?
Thanks

In summary, a review found that between January 2007 and October 2008, Kensington were charging arrears fees (which is allowed) but were saying they were for services that they were not providing.
The FSA fined them and were told to repay just over £1m. Kensington contacted all those affected by the ruling.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The issue is not the fee. The issue was that they were not doing what they said they were doing for that fee. They changed their processes following the FSA action.
You can ask them to refund some but fees charged outside of those dates were not subject to the FSA review.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
