TSB Branch Locator

I've just used the TSB branch locator to find my nearest branch. This states that it is in Morecambe 12.6 miles away, which is fine if you happen to have a boat as this is the distance straight across Morecambe Bay. Interestingly if you click on the direction button it tells you it's 39 odd miles away around the Bay, a safer route if you're travelling by car

Your point being?Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0

What is the point of showing distances to branches that are not accurate for normal travel0

How much interest would you be prepared to forego to fund your share of the incremental software development/licensing costs to change their site to use 'shortest driving distance' rather than 'nearest', a significantly more complex calculation?0

My nearest BoS branch is 361 miles. I could go by trains, planes and automobiles.:D0

I have just tried to find my nearest Bank of Scotland Branch. It is so far from where I am that their Branch finder can't find anything. Hasn't stopped me from being the happy holder of 3 BoS Vantage and a BoS Monthly Savings account. You can do just about everything 'banking' without ever setting foot in a Branch. If the internet lets you down, use the phone.0

Do you have a TSB account ?0 -
If they learned t o use the Google Maps API they could implement a much better branch finder. All the Lloyds group banks' websites are complete rubbish.0

That's your opinion I think HSBC's and First Direct website are complete rubbish others might think there the bees knees.
Personally I think Lloyds Group website are good, thought I think Barclays Is slightly better.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -
I went onto the website to locate my branch just to be curious. I clicked "branch direction" and it opened up Google Maps in a new tab with walking directions laid out.
Seems simply efficient to me.0 -
