CC helping themselves to account

in Credit cards
Hi there.
After a messy split and divorce, I've strugled with my CC repayments. Hve gone through money advice and 2 of the 3 cards have been great and payment arrangements are in place.
The third - Lloyds are being awkward. I am getting letters saying I am refusing to contact them. They keep calling me but each caller is unable to see the details from the previous person who called. Initially they agreed to hold all charges and interest - now they have no record. Money advice have had a letter back saying they can't trace my credit card account - despite them including a copy of my CC statement with their letter.
Today I check my account and they have taken a manual payment out of my account. I called to advise I didn't authourise it. And was told tough, they can do that when they like.
Is this legally correct ??
